The Indigo Garden
The Indigo Garden takes its colour from the oldest dye in the subcontinent — that particular depth of blue that has been pulled from indigo plants and fixed into cloth for centuries. The ground here is navy, saturated and still, and on it: a botanical world in motion.
Climbing leaf stems in cream and slate move up the length of the kurta, punctuated by large geometric hexagon medallions that anchor the composition. Copper accents thread through the leaves, warm against the cool ground. The collar and V-placket are finished with a fine white piping — the only interruption to the pattern, and a considered one.
Dutchess Satin — 220 GSM
A Rayon–Viscose blend woven with a satin finish. At 220 GSM, the fabric carries the print with authority — no limpness, no distortion. The drape is clean and the colours sit exactly as printed, neither bleeding nor fading into the ground.
Worn with white wide-leg trousers as shown, or with ivory — the navy reads as a neutral when the rest is kept light. For a daytime wedding, a festive lunch, or anywhere the occasion requires presence without loudness.
